What it does

A Bible assistant that keeps your data sovereign.

Zimi Bible is a production AI service designed for scripture study, theological Q&A, and verse retrieval. Users ask questions in natural language — the system searches a structured Biblical knowledge base and generates responses grounded in scripture, with citations.

Unlike cloud Bible tools, Zimi Bible runs entirely on local infrastructure. All model inference happens on-device through the JahKnow API gateway. No queries are routed to external AI services — your congregation's study sessions and theological research stay private.

The system is built with Caribbean faith communities in mind. It supports the kinds of questions that emerge in everyday Bible study: thematic exploration, cross-reference lookup, and passage context — without requiring theological training to use effectively.

Verse retrieval
Find specific verses by topic, keyword, or reference. The knowledge base supports natural-language queries — no need to know book and chapter in advance.
Theological Q&A
Ask questions about Biblical passages, themes, and doctrine. Responses are grounded in scripture with citations, not generated from general AI training alone.
Cross-reference & context
Explore how passages relate across books and testaments. The system surfaces relevant parallel passages and provides historical and textual context.
Fully local inference
Powered by local language models through the JahKnow API. No data is sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any third-party AI service.
Daily verse rotation
A curated daily verse is served from the knowledge base each morning — with an optional reflection prompt to anchor study for the day.
Four reflection styles
Responses are available in standard, Jamaican Patois, youth-oriented, and devotional styles — so the assistant speaks to the community it serves.
